Phoenix Lodge:  Update 10/18/07

Many thanks to Brother Jonah McCall for attending to his first duties as a new Ambassador at the “Square & Compass Day” open house on October 13^th.  It was a beautiful day barbecuing outside and assisting the “grill-master” Bro Tom Malames in  making sure that all our guests were properly nourished and did not leave dissatisfied.

The Master, Officers, and Fellow Brethren conducted tours of the lodge for those family members and others interested in receiving more light in Freemasonry.  Several spouses and friends of Phoenix members saw a lodge room for the first time and were impressed with its beauty and tranquility.  

As of this writing, I know that we have some serious prospects to take the degrees and have some applications for membership to read at the November 1^st meeting. This is the result of the efforts of many.  All Brothers who had a part in the “Open House”, as well as the “ Child Identification Program” at the Hanover Firehouse, are to be congratulated for putting Freemasonry into action.
